Mark Alan is a guitarist/singer/songwriter based out of Denver, CO. Mark is a lifelong musician and has been infatuated with guitar since his parents took him (as a very young boy) to the local music store in Rochester, NY to introduce him to music. They put him at one end of the store and told him to walk all the way through and then come back and tell them what he wanted to play. They had every instrument in that store, but he wasn't half way through when he spotted a beautiful red acoustic guitar. He went home with that guitar that day.

Raised in Rochester NY, Mark played in the usual assortment of School and High School Rock Bands eventually moving to Florida in his Sr. year. While initially depressed about leaving his home town band, he was in a new group within days. It was the height of the Southern Rock era so he quickly to learn that “Southern thing” to fit in. He later attended Art School in Sarasota Florida because he loved making Art as much as he loved making Music, but also because all his British guitar heroes also attended Art School. Finally settling in Tampa, Mark played in multiple bands working the local bar and roadhouse scene for many years. A highlight being opening for a 13 year old Derek Truck at a club on Alt 19 in Clearwater, Fl.

Mark put his music ambitions on hold to raise his son and to build a successful marketing career. He initially worked in the Advertising Agency world and ultimately ending up in Denver in 2001 working for a Fortune 200 company. He never stopped writing and playing guitar and this album is the outcome of a very colorful and full life. You got to be there to write about it and Mark certainly fits that bill.
